If the hard wear of hoisting and doising on frequent windward leward legs has you accustomed to wearing your halyard through the sideplates of your exit blocks, Harken Protexit Exit Blocks are here to redefine your expectations of the life of your line. Wear from side angle loading is no longer inevitable. Protexit Exit Blocks are constructed entirely of aluminum, and delfect line on the sheave by rotating on sleeve bearings with Delrin sideload balls to prevent damage in extreme conditions. The line is guided smoothly regardless of angle, protecting both line and hardware. Protexit blocks offer higher working loads than any small boat exit blocks previously released by Harken. Key Features: All-aluminum. Wear-resistant. Protexit aluminum sheaves rotate on sleeve bearings with Delrin sideload balls so they dont deform in extreme conditions, while reducing wear on the halyard, too.
