Novabraid Argus

ARGUS answers the performance yachtsmans need for a strong durable rope for running rigging with minimal elongation at an affordable price. Developed by sailboat racers, this remarkable hybrid rope product blends UHMPE Spectra fibers with low weight MFP in the rope core. Argus adds a color matched urethan coating to the core for added UV and abrasion protection.

High-Tech Rope


A glance at High-Tech line:

NOVALITE HP is a double braided floating rope constructed with a twisted multi - filament polypropylene (MFP) cover and a blend of Spectra and MFP in the urethane coated core. Novalite HP is an extremely strong, durable, light weight, and highly visible line. It has excellent handling characteristics and is fully splicable.

POLYSPEC is a double braided rope constructed with a 100% polyester cover and a 100% Spectra core. It is designed for general marine applications where extra low elongation and extremely high strength to weight ratios are required. This product often replaces wire of the same diameter.

SPECTEC-12™ is a hollow braided 12-strand rope using 100% Spectra fiber. Spectec-12 yields one of the highest strength to weight ratios available in a synthetic rope.

SPRINT is a hollow braided Spectra core ideal for control line applications. Not suitable for winching.
