Generally we sell two different types of flags: silk screened or nylon sewn. What's the difference?

Silk screened flags are constructed from silk (or similar material) and the colours are painted on. These flags are very light, take little breeze to fly, but over time the colours tend to fade (red turns to pink) and the material weakens and tears, especially on the edges and corners.

Nylon sewn flags are constructed of layers (such as the red maple leaf), sewn onto the flag. This creates a heavier flag - it doesn't fly as easily, but is much more durable with colours that fade slowly.

The type of flag you chose depends on these characteristics - which is better for your needs?
