All ANDERSEN winches have Power Rib drums, the unique vertical ribs provide extra grip, reducing the number of turns required compared to other drum designs. The highly polished smooth surface of the drum ensures the long life of sheets and halyards, minimizes the risk of jamming, whilst improving the "sliding" characteristics of the rope up the drum.
Any ANDERSEN winch in the size 46 ST to 110 ST is factory prepared, ready to receive the Modular Power System (MPS). This system will allow you to add power to your ANDERSEN winch either electrically or hydraulically at any time you choose.
